Cannibal Corpse – Evisceration Plague (2009)

Evisceration Plague is another high quality slab of well produced death metal from the kings ov the genre. Unfortunately, Evisceration comes after a long line of incredibly (seriously) consistent Corpsegrinder CC albums and just cannot keep up with those that came before it. As I said, the production is excellent, and there are some fukken fantastic songs here, but there are moments of lulling where I find interest to be waning or sections to be rather uninspired. All in all, this is a solid death metal album, but pales slightly in comparison to the flawless consistency that come before it in the catalog.
