Bulldozer – The Day Of Wrath (1985)

Silly but very, very entertaining blackened thrash back from the days when blackened thrash wasn’t really a thing outside of Venom, and to be honest, Bulldozer is so much more than a Venom clone. Labelling them as such merely does them a disservice.

The production is rough but serviceable, and the music has that looseness to it that only adds to proceedings, rather than coming across as sloppy and useless. The subject matter is a weird one, fluctuating between “serious” takes like “The Great Deciever” and silly tracks like “Whisky Time” (which is a banger though).
