V/A – Dungeons & Catacombs I (2017)

An interesting mix of artists, performing a bunch of tunes that are not always so typical for the sounds of the often confined dungeon synth genre. What I mean to say is, that there is a wider range of sounds here than I expected going in, and I even came away with some artists that I really want to check out, so that’s good news too.

Some of the entries here are quite obscure however, and tracking them down can be rather difficult. But hey, isn’t that part of the fun?
