Thumpin’ underground techno to get you out of the clubs in the toon and into some rusty, damp shithole of a warehouse on a shady industrial estate 5 miles away, where many sweaty, half naked bodies writhe away in some sort of unison; each like a head of the hydra, unique but connected by one source and one purpose. The center of this hive mind is of course, body-movement commanding electronic barrages by the likes of Lucid XXX. This is a project by one-time Genetic Noose noisemaker Tom Jenkins, and its super nice to see that, whilst the “scene” or dare I say “genre” may have changed, his output remains as intense and as challenging as ever.
