Korn – Issues (1999)

Arguably the album that ended the klassic era of Korn? And by klassic, I suppose I mean the 90s. In which case, Korn left the era with a return to the drab and dirty sound that they had pioneered on their first two records. Issues is a strange one, as alongside the usual clank and rattle of Korn’s nu metal is a whole series of shorter songs; vignettes if you will, which range from bizarre interludes to sounding like unfinished ideas.
